SCAA celebrates Air Ambulance Week

Air Ambulance Week is the only week in the year dedicated to raising awareness and funds for the vital life-saving work of air ambulance charities across the UK.

Air Ambulance Week 2021 takes off from 6th to 12th September 2021, with air ambulance charities from across the UK coming together to deliver the vital message that Every Second Counts and Every Penny Matters when saving the lives of people with a sudden life-threatening injury or medical emergency.

The week raises awareness of how air ambulance charities rapidly deliver advanced lifesaving pre-hospital care directly to the side of patients like, essentially bringing the A&E department to the patient when every second counts towards survival.

Every air ambulance charity lifes-aving mission is almost entirely funded by donations, and so every penny matters. By supporting Air Ambulance Week, you will be helping to ensure that air ambulance charities can save even more lives every day across the UK.
