Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance unveils bold new ambition

Today, Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance (SCAA), as part of Scotland’s Emergency Response Network, launches a bold new ambition.

David Craig, SCAA’s Chief Executive, said: “After more than a decade of providing a life-saving service to the people of Scotland, and experiencing some of our busiest years to date, the time has been right for us to consider what the future holds for SCAA.

"Last year, our whole team, including our board, reflected on the reason our founders created our charity, and it was clear: SCAA exists to ensure that ‘No one in Scotland should die because help cannot get there in time.’”

David continued: “This ambition represents both the medical expertise we bring to a critical situation and the speed at which our aircraft enables us to get there. Today, we commit to saying that we will not rest until that is the reality here in Scotland.”

Alongside this bold new ambition, SCAA recognised a need to refresh its brand to reflect this. This process has been about more than just a new look; it's about making sure our brand shows how determined we are to reach everyone in Scotland who needs us, in time.

As we move forward, this brand refresh will help us communicate our ambition more clearly, both to the people of Scotland that we serve and to you, our valued supporters who make all of this possible.

David said: “We know that the people of Scotland will get behind us in the new ambition. Our supporters have been with us for over a decade, and we know that they are committed to being there for our exciting future.”

Thanks to your continued support, we will soon be announcing some exciting news in the near future which will take us closer to achieving this ambition.
